It's at the "end of the row" as it were. The managers are so helpful and the atmosphere is wonderful! I've taken several walks, seeing deer and lots of birds as I enjoyed the beauty of God's creation in such a serene and inspirational setting. Thanks for sharing your wonderful experience - I hope others are encouraged to take time for a personal retreat as well, and this is just the place to be!

Re: Resources for a New Year: Chronological Bible

Looks great Toni - Iv not read the Bible this way so might have to consider this as an option

Re: Sneak peek: Miss Red Pen

I'm not good at guessing... but if I brought you my resume' would you be fine-tuning it until it hummed sweetly when opened?
Or, will you be wearing your apron as an at-home editor for some fancy-pants publishing house?
Tell! Ladybug's Picnic was my favorite SS clip.

Re: Farm Basket #1

Hi, Charlene! The quick answer is to shop the gluten-free freezer section at Whole Foods. However, if you're more adventurous, there are tons of resources online, but be aware that g/f recipes typically call for unusual flours and other ingredients that aren't in most pantries. If you want to make your own g/f baked goods, expect a steep learning curve (I've been at it 2 years and still throw away failed experiments!).

Re: Farm Basket #1

Toni, how are those gluten free buns? I'm trying to go gluten-free and doing a good job except that I haven't figured out the bread thing. Any advice?
